Police say Stephanie Carlquist, 31, of Richmond was arrested on August 14, 2025 by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and booked on a charge of first-degree criminal mischief. She dumped salt into her ex-boyfriend’s car engine, poured glitter into the A/C system and did some other damage leaving the vehicle wrecked inside and out. The reported repair bill? Too high — $12,000 car was totaled. Carlquist’s mugshot quickly went viral online.
